The plans
There are three memberships: The Late Thirds (thelatethirds.com), 3RDS (thelate3rds.com) and the TL3 Suite (both sites). Each is offered monthly or yearly. You can sign up for any of them from any TL3 site; what each plan includes, its price and its billing period are shown before you pay. The Late Thirds includes that site’s member files and the chat on both sites. 3RDS includes that site’s member features, your saved arcade scores and the chat on both sites. The TL3 Suite includes everything on both sites and the TL3 room: your account, your saved work and every feature in one place, with My Shares, linked leagues, alerts and Hold to Ask. A member on one site’s plan can look around the other site and the room; using them is part of the Suite. Payments are billed through The Late Thirds today; as our billing setup is completed, the 3RDS plan may be billed by 3RDS and the TL3 Suite by tl3rds.com. All three sites are operated by TL3 Football LLC, and the checkout always shows who is billing you. One TL3 account works on all three sites and keeps track of the plan you hold, so you are never billed for two plans at once.
Free trial
Every plan comes with a 7-day free trial, once per person. A payment method is required to start it, access starts right away, and your first charge happens when the trial ends unless you cancel before then. The trial terms and the first charge date are shown at checkout. A person who has already used a trial on any TL3 plan is not offered another one.
Automatic renewal
Memberships renew automatically at the end of each billing period (monthly or yearly) at the then-current price until you cancel. By subscribing, you authorize our payment provider to charge your payment method at each renewal. We will give notice before a price change applies to an existing membership, and remind yearly members before renewal where required.
Switching plans
You can switch plans at any time from your Account page. The unused part of your current billing period is credited against the first payment of the new plan, worked out by the day. If the credit covers the new plan’s first payment, the switch happens with no charge that day and your next charge moves out accordingly. A switch made during a free trial keeps the same trial end date and charges nothing until then. Switching never creates a second membership.
Referrals
Every member has a personal link. Someone who joins through it and enters the code at sign-up gets 10% off their first payment (the first month, or the first year on an annual plan). When that new member’s first real payment clears at the end of the free trial, the member who referred them gets their next 2 months free: their renewal moves out 2 months. Rewards bank up to 6 months at once and up to 12 months in a year. A refunded or charged-back first payment takes an unused reward back. Referring your own second account earns nothing. We check for repeat accounts with the email address and, once our payment setup allows it, the payment card’s fingerprint from our payment processor (we never see your full card number); we do not ask for phone numbers. TL3 Football LLC may change or end the referral program for future sign-ups at any time; rewards already earned stand.
Cancelling
Cancel anytime from your Account page, or email contact@tl3rds.com. Cancelling stops future charges; you keep access until the end of the period you already paid for. Cancelling during a free trial ends the trial with no charge.
No free accounts
There are no free accounts: every account begins with a plan’s 7-day free trial. Everyone can read and play the free side of both sites without an account. An account made earlier through the old free sign-up keeps its saved arcade scores.
Refunds
Because access starts immediately, payments are generally non-refundable, except where the law requires a refund, you were charged in error or twice, or we choose to refund. Where local law gives you a right to withdraw from a digital-content purchase, it applies. Accounts closed for breaking the Terms or Community Rules are not refunded, to the extent the law allows.
