• One player, ten names. Ten clues, wide to narrow.
• Every clue after the first strikes one wrong name off.
• Answer or hold. Band 1 pays 1,200; each band you wait, −100.
• A miss costs 100 more. Three misses on one player: you're out.
• 50 in the room. After every player the bottom 10 go home.
• At 20, tiebreaks. At 5, sudden death: one player decides it.
